Meditation is more than stress free tool, it helps to de-stress though.Meditation is one of the 8 steps of yoga,(yama, niyama,asana,pranayama,pratyahara,dharana,dhyana(meditation),samadhi).If you are not interested in the basic steps before yama you wont go far, and if you give about 5 to 10 years to study meditation the way you do for your career, you could free yourself completely and reach heights and depths of everything around.
