The word comes from the Sanskrit language and is derived from the verb root vid, 'to know'. Originally the Vedas were composed in Sanskrit. There are two types of Sanskrit, vaidika and laukika. The Vedic Sanskrit is called vaidika and it is more complicated both in its grammar and in the use of certain words which are only found in the Vedas. The worldly or more popular Sanskrit is called laukika. This is the language of the puranas and itihasas. The Vedas themselves do not say so much about their origin and purpose or, whatever little is said, is generally not taken very seriously by Western scholars who dismiss it as primitive belief and mythology. In modern Western scholarship it has apparently become a fashion to ignore the authoritative statements that the Vedas make about themselves, and to instead speculate who composed the Vedas, when, where and for what purpose. In the Brhad-aranyaka Upanisad it is said, asya mahato bhutasya nihsvasitam etad yad rg-vedo yajur vedah sama-vedo 'tharvangirasah. "The four Vedas - namely the Rg-Veda, Yajur-Veda, Sama-Veda, and Atharva-Veda - are all emanations from the breathing of the great Personality of Godhead." In the Bhagavata Purana it is said, vedo narayana saksat svayambhur iti susruma. "The Vedas are directly the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Narayana, and are self-born." The same reference also explains the purpose of the Vedas, veda-pranihito dharmo hy adharmas tad viparyayah. "That which is prescribed in the Vedas constitutes dharma, the religious principles, and the opposite of that is irreligion." ***** The "aryan invasion" is a myth invented by Western scholars in order to discredit the original Vedic civilization. These humans could simply not tolerate the idea that an advanced human culture could have originated in India... the term aryan, is NOT DESIGNATING A RACIAL TYPE!! but rather a cultural class. A.C. Bhaktivedanta Svami defines, "The word Aryan is applicable to persons who know the value of life and have a civilization based on spiritual realization." While it is a fact that people existed who immigrated from Central Asia to Central India, their is NO evidence that they were the ones who established the Vedic culture. The Vedic culture was already very ancient and advanced by the time these people arrived in Aryavarta, 'the abode of the noble and excellent ones'... Current archeological data do not support the existence of an Indo-Aryan or European invasion into South Asia at any time in the pre- or protohistoric periods. Instead, it is possible to document archeologically a series of cultural changes reflecting indigenous cultural development from prehistoric to historic periods. The early Vedic literature describes not a human invasion into the area, but a fundamental restructuring of indigenous society. The Indo-Aryan invasion as an academic concept in eighteenth and nineteenth century Europe reflected the cultural milieu of that period. So it's really important that your arm hole fits right under your armpit and you don't have too much room otherwise you will have the effect of like shortening your torso and you really wanna have a minimum amount of room showing. Adding suspenders to your outfit is a great way to divert attention and to lose the full point of you guest. So it's something you might wanna consider. A three piece suit also is a good way to compliment your appearance when you're on the larger side. And double breasted jackets they're cut really short. It's also a flattering style. Don't try to hide your body and just go with the slender fitted style for the suit with the high arm hole. And it will compliment your silhouette very nicely.

The shikhara of the temple is made from a single 80-tonne piece of granite. This magnificent temple was built in just five years, (between 1004 AD and 1009 AD) during the reign of Rajaraja Chola. India is the largest democracy in the world, the 7th largest Country in the world, and one of the most ancient civilizations. The game of Snakes & Ladders was created by the 13th century poet saint Gyandev. It was originally called 'Mokshapat'. The ladders in the game represented virtues and the snakes indicated vices. The game was played with cowrie shells and dices. In time, the game underwent several modifications, but its meaning remained the same, i.e. good deeds take people to heaven and evil to a cycle of re-births. The world's highest cricket ground is in Chail, Himachal Pradesh. Built in 1893 after leveling a hilltop, this cricket pitch is 2444 meters above sea level. India has the largest number of Post Offices in the world. The largest employer in India is the Indian Railways, employing over a million people. The Father of Medicine, Charaka, consolidated Ayurveda 2500 years ago. India was one of the richest countries till the time of British rule in the early 17th Century. Christopher Columbus, attracted by India's wealth, had come looking for a sea route to India when he discovered America by mistake. The Art of Navigation & Navigating was born in the river Sindh over 6000 years ago. The very word Navigation is derived from the Sanskrit word 'NAVGATIH'. The word navy is also derived from the Sanskrit word 'Nou'. Bhaskaracharya rightly calculated the time taken by the earth to orbit the Sun hundreds of years before the astronomer Smart. According to his calculation, the time taken by the Earth to orbit the Sun was 365.258756484 days. The value of "pi" was first calculated by the Indian Mathematician Budhayana, and he explained the concept of what is known as the Pythagorean Theorem. He discovered this in the 6th century, long before the European mathematicians. Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus also originated in India.Quadratic Equations were used by Sridharacharya in the 11th century. The largest numbers the Greeks and the Romans used were 106 whereas Hindus used numbers as big as 10*53 (i.e. 10 to the power of 53) with specific names as early as 5000 B.C.during the Vedic period.Even today, the largest used number is Terra: 10*12(10 to the power of 12). Samurai starts at 00:10 Samurai, usually referred to in Japanese as bushi or buke, were the military nobility of medieval and early-modern Japan. Maurya Empire starts at 24:50 The Maurya Empire was a geographically extensive Iron Age historical power in ancient India, ruled by the Mauryan dynasty from 322 to 185 BCE. Much of what we know of ancient history is the history of militaries: their conquests, their movements, and their technological innovations. There are many reasons for this. Kingdoms and empires, the central units of control in the ancient world, could only be maintained through military force. Due to limited agricultural ability, there were relatively few areas that could support large communities, so fighting was common. Weapons and armor, designed to be sturdy, tended to last longer than other artifacts, and thus a great deal of surviving artifacts recovered tend to fall in this category as they are more likely to survive. This is a short animation done be Canaan M. Audio done be Phanin S. It's a simple animation about life and how we can build up everything, but in the end it can't come with us. This is only to be thought provoking - it would take ages to draw in more characters and kids...Blah, Blah, Blah.... Hope you enjoy...And are not too depressed...Remember thought provoking ;) If you are interested in getting some animation done for your group or church, we might be able to help you, please feel free to msg me. Many people ask me how this animation was done - i hope this helps... Adobe Flash does this thing called "tweening" (you start with the beginning and end poses, and the software completes the in-between poses, or 'tween'). An example would be you draw a man with his hands up, and then after 20 frames you draw him hands down. Flash will process all the positions in-between. But, there is still a certain amount of frames needed to be done by hand, especially if the character changes angles (a face turning left to right, toon turning from front to back, etc.) Tweening works best on a XY plane, if that makes sense? You can do a pseudo Z plane or depth thing, like 2.5D instead of '3D'. (I must be confusing the heck out of you by now). An alternative is a 'puppet' method, where you break a character into parts, and animate the parts separately. For example, separate hands and legs at the joint, and you animate by rotating the limbs/joints. But that is probably more robotic looking if you are just starting out. Of course, the best animations are still done by hand, frame-by-frame as nothing else is as expressive. The masters spend hours and years to hone their craft, that's why they are so good (classic Disney stuff). The simplest method, is probably using a low frame rate and do a stop-motion thing with character cutouts from paper and then re-arranging them on screen at about 8 frames per second over the timeline. There's heaps of resources online you can check out, one good one is Computer Arts magazine's website: http://ift.tt/TRinQL. Search for "Animation Tutorial", you might find what you need there. Tons of Flash tutorials. If you want to learn more about traditional animation and want a good, solid source, the Animator's Survival Kit is excellent. Parasite - an organism that benefits by living in/on a host organism and deriving nutrients at the host's expense. Host - an organism in/on which another organism lives. Protozoa - a group of single-celled microscopic animals (not bacteria or viruses) that includes the Plasmodium species. Plasmodium - a genus of parasitic protozoa, many of which cause malaria in their hosts. Four species regularly infect humans: P. falciparum, P. vivax, P. malariae, & P. ovale. P. falciparum - the Plasmodium species that kills the most people, by causing malignant malaria, the most dangerous form of malaria. Paytm is an Indian e-commerce website headquartered in Noida, India. It was launched in 2010 and adds to the industry of FinTech in India. It is owned by One97 Communications. The firm started by offering mobile recharging, adding bill payment and e-commerce, with products similar to businesses such as Flipkart, Amazon.com, Snapdeal. In 2015, it further added booking bus travel. Paytm also launched movie ticket booking by partnering with Cinépolis in the year 2016. Paytm was founded and incubated by One97 Communications in 2010 as a prepaid mobile recharge website. Paytm is an acronym for "Pay Through Mobile" with Android, Windows and iOS apps. In 2014, the company launched Paytm Wallet, now India's largest mobile payment service platform with over 100 million wallets & 10 million app downloads. According to data shared by App Annie, a mobile-tracking website, Amazon has taken the second position from Paytm in terms of mobile downloads. In March 2015, Indian industrialist Ratan Tata made personal investment in the firm. The same month, the company received a $575 million investment from Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba Group, after Ant Financial Services Group, an Alibaba Group affiliate, took 25% stake in One97 as part of a strategic agreement. Paytm borrowed 300cr from ICICI Bank in March 2016 as working capital. In 2015 Paytm received a license from Reserve Bank of India for starting India's first payments bank. The bank intends to use Paytm’s existing user base for offering new services, including debit cards, savings accounts, online banking and transfers, to enable a cashless economy. The payments bank would be a separate entity in which the founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma will hold 51%, One97 Communications will hold 39% and 10% will be held by a subsidiary of One97 and Sharma. Paytm is also approved as an operating unit for Bharat Bill Payment System, as a result of which users can pay their bills anytime and anywhere.
